# Tortillas
## Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons rice bran oil

## Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the **flour** and **salt**. Stir in the **water** and **oil**. Turn the loosely formed dough out onto a floured surface (large cutting board is great). Knead 10 to 12 times, until a smooth dough forms, adding a little more flour or water if needed.
+ Let dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Start heating your (heavy-bottomed/cast-iron) frying pan on medium.
+ Divide dough evenly into eight portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a thin, tortilla-sized circle.
- Grease your frying pan, then cook the tortillas over medium heat until lightly browned—approx. 1 minute per side. Serve warm.
