# yīngyīngyīng 嘤嘤嘤
> ‘嘤嘤嘤— Yingyingying (onomatopoeia). “Cute” sobbing of little girls and/or boys that apparently makes people’s hearts clench. “Ying” by itself is a bird’s call/cry (to look for a companion), or it could just be as before, soft weeping.’[^1]
